Let’s not beat around the bush – you want to know how much it will cost to have me work on your copywriting project. And that’s fair enough, because it may be that you look at the rate card below, wince, and resume your search for a good technical copywriter elsewhere.
But if you do think the numbers below are expensive, take a second to consider how expensive cheap copy is in the long run.
So without further ado, here is my rate card:
Monthly blog retainer rate (1 new article weekly): £300 per calendar month
Additional single post/article, 500 words: £65
One-off article: £100 per 500 words + £65 for each additional block of 500 words
Requiring client interviews or similar: (from) £100
Documents up to 5 pages: £750
£90 per page thereafter
Billed on a per project basis
Projects like sales emails, rebranding, mission statements and taglines will all be quoted on a time basis, using the following as a guide.
Hourly rate: £65
Day rate: £500
Short notice surcharge (for deadlines less than 48 hours): +20%
On site visits are charged at day rate (or part thereof) + travel expenses.
