Let’s not beat around the bush – you want to know how much it will cost to have me work on your copywriting project. And that’s fair enough, because it may be that you look at the rate card below, wince, and resume your search for a good technical copywriter elsewhere.
But if you do think the numbers below are expensive, take a second to consider how expensive cheap copy is in the long run.
The figures below are a guideline. For every project I provide a fixed price quote so you and I both know how much the job will cost upfront. The rate card below will help you understand how I build a quote:
Monthly blog retainer rate (1 new article weekly, 4 total per month): £400 per calendar month
Additional single post/article, 500 words: £75
One-off article: £125 per 500 words + £75 for each additional block of 500 words
Requiring client interviews or similar: (from) £100
White papers & Reports
Billed on a per project basis
Projects like sales emails, rebranding, mission statements and taglines will all be quoted on a time basis, using the following as a guide.
Hourly rate: £75
Day rate: £550
Short notice surcharge (for deadlines less than 48 hours): +20%
On site visits are charged at day rate + travel expenses.
If these rates still sound too much for your budget please do drop me a line. Even if we cannot reach an amicable agreement, I can put you in touch with some other excellent writers who may be able to assist.
